Twelve angry men (released in 1947) starring Henry Fonda, a gripping drama set in a jury room.jpgWe will be reading the play Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose.

Twelve Angry Men is about a jury deliberation regarding a young man who is on trial for murdering his father with a switchblade knife. The entire play takes place in the jury room while the twelve jurors discuss the defendant's innocence or guilt. Eleven jurors want to convict the defendant while one, Juror 8, does not. As jurors discuss and emotions rise, it becomes clear which jurors may hold prejudices that make them unable to be truly unbiased.
